Supported by German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Menschen für Menschen constructs a new water supply scheme. More than 80 % of Ethiopia’s rural population have no access to clean drinking water.

The project was financed with the help of Mercedes Benz Bank and donations received during the Menschen für Menschen Road Show in 2007. The new Degem Higher Secondary School is the first Higher Secondary School in a region of 110.000 inhabitants.
