Our horizon should be broader than just from the garden gate to the house door, from heartache to the diary, from the “what to do this evening?” dilemma to the hair problem.
Not only things that concern us in everyday life, that occur directly around us – a few metres and blocks away – deserve our attention.
Each year 6 million children die of malnutrition… and we complain about school canteen meals. About a billion people do not have access to clean drinking water… and we flush the toilet with fresh drinking water. At least 120 million children annually are unable to start school… and we question the necessity to learn.

IchwillGerechtigkeit.de is intended as a forum with discussions, a place to exchange thoughts and ideas with others – and encourage us to take action.

Punk macht Schule! - "Punk sets a precedent!"
The youth portal of Menschen für Menschen IchwillGerechtigkeit.de and the punk band Killerpilze appeals to young people to take action. Together they raise funds for the construction of a primary school in Ethiopia. For schools are a scarce commodity – in particular schools which can be reached without hours of toiling along dusty paths. In December the German punk band was in the project regions in Ethiopia.
