As an independent financial advice company based in Regensburg the human is the centre of attention. The globalization is for the service provider not only a chance, also an obligation for extensive social commitment. For that reason TELIS Finanz AG supports needy people for many years.

In the year 2005 the group started to endorse the work of Menschen für Menschen and to finance two hospital wards in the region of Jamma in the Ethiopian highland. Only a very simple medical resupply camp pre-existed in the whole region. People from surrounding villages had to walk or to be borne by relatives two to three hours to reach this hospital ward in all weathers.

In May 2008 chairman Klaus Bolz, his wife and Rainer Leidl, marketing head, inaugurated the new hospital ward in the villages Tefetag and Yeddo. Now both hospital wards offer primary health care for about 12,000 people.

The foundation is now able to make a difference in medical field for the local population through the generous aid of TELIS Finanz AG: Not only treatment of diseases and implementation of easier surgical interventions appertain to the assignment. There are also courses in family planning, midwifery, mother-child consultation, vaccination programs for children and adults and instruction in general hygienic questions.
