HORBACH Business Consultancy GmbH places great emphasis on social commitment. This social responsibility meets with the full support of the whole workforce. In the past few years Karlheinz Böhm’s Menschen für Menschen Ethiopia Relief has featured prominently together with the AWD Foundation.

The consultancy has supported the training of young men and women in skilled trades and technical professions on a large scale at the ATTC training centre of Menschen für Menschen in the eastern Ethiopian city of Harar. Currently HORBACH is contributing to the costs of construction of a school in Babile. The new school will consist of two buildings with four classrooms each, an administrative building and accommodation for the teachers. Several hundred children, youths and adults will learn to read, write and do arithmetic.

Education is development and the only effective way out of poverty and hopelessness. No wonder that the employees of HORBACH are proud to give families a better perspective with their financial commitment.
