Since 1985 the employees and management of "Bürkert control Electronics” have donated over € 280,000 to the work of Menschen für Menschen. Each year the works council of the traditional Swabian company raises funds among the staff and the management generously rounds off the amount. Many meetings between the company’s representatives, Karlheinz Böhm and employees of Menschen für Menschen have resulted in close personal ties. The fund-raising appeal and successes in Ethiopia have prompted Bürkert to adopt the goals of Menschen für Menschen as their own.
