Menschen für Menschen endeavours to fill every vacant position that arises in the project areas and regions in Ethiopia with an indigenous worker. This ensures a secure existence for a maximum number of Ethiopian families. Europeans are hired only in project areas where specialised knowledge is required which indigenous workers are lacking or for which we are unable to find qualified workers locally. The result is that of currently more than 600 positions only a few are occupied by non-Ethiopians.
